Batida is, as well as Caïpirinha, a very popular cocktail from Brazil. It is a mixture of fruits and Cachaça. The best known is Batida de coco. It is made from natural extracts of coco and Cachaça Thoquino.
Ready to drink, very rich in flavours but remaining light in mouth and with a low ABV little alcohol, Batida de Coco Thoquino is really close to a homemade Batida.
Thoquino cachaça is an "Aguardente de Cana" 100% pure sugar cane, made with freshly pressed sugar cane juice which is then fermented for 8 days having been distilled (double distillation) This fermentation is longer than that of rum, contributing to its unique taste. It is one of the rare distilleries to have its own sugar cane plantations, which lets it control the production on the plantation and guarantees constant quality.
